What is Voicemail Transcription?

VentureTel voicemail transcription automatically converts your voice messages into text, allowing you to read your voicemails instead of listening to them.

How to Access Your Voicemail Transcriptions

There are two main ways to view your voicemail transcriptions:

Through the VentureTel Web Portal:

1. Log in to the VentureTel web portal - https://venturetel.app.

2. Navigate to the "Voicemail" section.

3. Click on the "eye" icon of a voicemail message.

4. The voicemail transcription will appear below the audio player.

Via Email Notifications:

If you have voicemail-to-email notifications enabled, the voicemail transcription will be included in the body of the email.

Important Notes

1. Voicemail transcription is currently limited to messages under one minute in length.

2. The accuracy of voicemail transcription can vary depending on factors like background noise and the speaker's clarity.

3. Transcriptions may not be available for all voicemails.

4. VentureTel utilizes Google's Cloud Transcription API to convert your voicemail messages to text. We prioritize user privacy and security. Please refer to Google Cloud's privacy policy (https://cloud.google.com/privacy) for details on their data handling practices.

Troubleshooting

1. No Transcriptions Available: Make sure voicemail transcription is enabled for your account and note that transcription is currently limited to messages under one minute in length.

2. Inaccurate Transcriptions: Improve the accuracy by speaking clearly and minimizing background noise when leaving voicemails.
