QoS Testing

TL;DR

To run a connection test using the Visualware BCS, first download and install the software from the Visualware website, following the provided installation instructions for your platform. Once installed, you can run a test from the Visualware Connection Test Portal by selecting a location. For VentureTel VoIP, it is recommended to test against San Jose or Los Angeles if you are on the West Coast, or New York if you are on the East Coast. This will help ensure accurate results for your connection test.

This walk-through will take you through the steps required to run a connection test (VoIP, Speed etc.) using the Visualware BCS.

Download and Install the BCS

Download the BCS from here.
Follow the installation instructions for the platform you're using (Windows | Mac).

Running a Test

Once the BCS has been installed and is running correctly you should be able to run a connection test.
To run a test from the Visualware Connection Test Portal click here and choose a location.
The best location to test against for VentureTel VoIP is San Jose or Los Angeles if you are closer to the West Coast or New York, if closer to the East Coast).
